Greetings and salutations!
Twice a year--spring and fall--famed artist and architect George Dombek holds an open house in his gallery in Goshen. Since he's the generous artist who contributed his splendid paintings to Gerry's and my chapbook Flyways, Gerry and I want to invite you to come to our reading that will be held there from 3-3:45 pm. As a special treat, Alan Morgan, talented songwriter, singer, guitarist, poet and painter (yes, all those!), will be performing two beautiful songs as a gift for this special occasion. George also offers visitors beer, wine, water and soft drinks. There is no charge to attend. See the attached announcement for the address and further details.
Many of you have attended our previous Flyways readings, and Gerry and I are most grateful for that. To a large extent, it's the audience that makes a poetry reading come alive. If you haven't been to one of ours, we think you'll enjoy the different ways we see and express our fascination with the wild and mysterious birds that share our human habitat. Of course adding the chance to view George's paintings and listening to Alan strum and sing can't help but add to your experience.
